Hi, I'm Kate
I am a certified Nutritionist and Integrated Nutrition Health Coach. Furthermore I have a master in Sociology. In my free time, besides working out or experimenting with recipes in the kitchen, I love socializing with my friends or hiking and traveling with my husband and our two smoothie-loving kids.
Best of all - I feel more balanced, energized and happier than when I was 20. My story to get to where I am today though, has been anything but a straight line - unhealthy food relationship, diets and food restrictions was for a long time my thing, but I'm here to tell you that it's possible to break the toxic cycle...

My approach
I truly believe that most people know what healthy food and active lifestyle looks like, but often we get stuck in automatic habits and behaviors that results in unhealthy decisions, even though we deep down want to act differently. Furthermore we are bioindividuals - we all carry our unique set of genes, biochemical, cultural, emotional and lifestyle factors that affects our health and choices in life. I therefore don't believe in one size fits all, when it comes to improving your health and overall wellbeing in general. What health looks like for me, might not be the same for you. Health is also so much more than the food on our plate, other factors like the shape of our relationships, stress or lack of energy and joy in life can affect our choices of food and activity level - and vice versa. With the combination of tools and knowledge that I have from my background in Sociology, Nutrition and Health Coaching, I explore the complex relationship between food, habits and health in general from a holistic perspective, which is needed for success. So rather than handing you a "magic pill" (though I wish I had one) I will listen and empower you to find answers and discover the root causes for your current health, in order for you to find balance and establish long term optimal wellness that aligns with your lifestyle. You will be in the front seat setting the direction for your health journey with your health goals, and I will be your biggest cheerleader on the side supporting you with tools, and guiding you to cut through any roadblocks that might derail you from reaching your version of a healthy balanced life.
